As a teenager on a farm in western Pennsylvania, I learned to hand paint aerial farm scenes and senior class photographs using the techniques of the early 1900’s. More refined today, but still using the same transparent Marshall Oil paints and pencils, I continue to create unique one of a kind originals, archivally printed on fiber based paper and individually hand painted. The beauty of the world surrounding us in nature is my palette as well as memories of the exquisite Provencal and Tuscan light I visit annually.
